Les GOUVERNEURS de l'ALGERIE ont exercés leurs actions et prérogatives dés le début de l'occupation de l'espace d'ALGERIE soit laissé libre par les autochtones, soit conquis après les attaques des locaux.

Ils eurent diverses responsabilités et notamment d'accorder l'absence de volontés et/ou de décisions de PARIS et les contraintes du terrain.

Ce faisant, ils eurent à gérer d'immenses contradictions dont ils se chargèrent avec plus ou moins de bonheur et d'équité.
